Why is Storytime Important?
Reading to young children helps them develop language and comprehension skills. It builds their attention span and develops a love of reading. Making crafts has benefits for all ages! Pre-schoolers develop fine motor skills while learning how to cut, glue, color, and more. They learn colors, shapes, pattern recognition, and counting. Crafting develops patience, creativity, hand-eye-coordination, and social skills. These skills are critical for school readiness. So pick up a book or make some crafts at home or join us for Storytime!
