Friends of the Atchison Library 2010-11 Board Members

 (L to R):  Janet Settich, President; Liz Lane, Member at Large; Connie McCoy, Treasurer; John Bishop, Member at Large; Vera Hurst, Secretary; Rose Lee, Vice-President.  Friends of the Library (FoAL) Board meets the first Thursday of each month at 4:00 p.m.  All meetings are open to the public.

Friends of the Atchison Library (FoAL) is a volunteer organization whose purpose is to:

  • Build support in the community for the Atchison Library.
  • Enhance the image, materials, services and facilities of the Atchison Library by undertaking specific projects on its behalf.
  • Maintain an association of individual, civic organizations, businesses, and other groups interested in the Atchison library.
  • Create public awareness of the activities of the Friends of the Atchison Library and encourage participation in the organization.
