Hoopla: free audiobooks, ebooks, movies, TV shows, and more
​Libby/Overdrive: Overdrive by Libby is an app based ebook and audiobook lender. Make a profile and then connect it to our library card to check out books!
Flipster: popular magazines to read FOR FREE
Mango Languages: Learn over 70 languages! Includes information about corresponding cultures, and a translation tool.

Learning Express: Preparation for the ACT, SAT, PSAT, AP, and other school entrance exams. Citizenship exam preparation, preparation for several occupations, including military (ASVAB) and nursing school. Includes video user guides, many resources download as pdfs for offline use.

State Library of Kansas: offers a host of online resources free of charge. In most cases, only a Kansas Library Card is needed to access them.

Audible: Has made thousands of titles for kids absolutely free to download and listen to, for as long as schools are closed. This is the direct link.
Tween Tribune: Smithsonian sponsored collection of non-fiction articles separated by age group (K-12)

Jstor: Jstor is expanding its open access articles and journals and making more books available to academic accounts. This link is for their open access collection.

Genealogy Resources: Heritage Quest offers tips getting started in genealogy, census records and other primary resources for searching your family history. Genealogy Connect offers information on specific ethnic groups and historical events that might be helpful in a general search for your family's history. The Catholic Advance (Wichita) newspaper from 1903-1915, is free to view for Kansas residents only, through the efforts of the Kansas Digital Newspapers (KDN) program of the Kansas Historical Society.

Job and Career Accelerator: Create and print resumes and cover letters. Includes video instruction, samples, and tips for interviewing. Requires a free account for use. 

Small Business Reference Center: Start-up kits and business plans, in addition to many helpful legal guides. Most resources are available for free download. Check out the Kansas Small Business Center for additional planning resources, as well as registering and filing the correct forms to operate your business in the State of Kansas.
