Always wanted to know the value of that “lucky penny,” or that oddly-shaped vase you picked up from the thrift store years ago? Now is your opportunity!!
The Friends of the Atchison Library is sponsoring “What’s It Worth” Coin & Antique Valuation Event Sunday, April 18th 12–4:30pm at the Atchison Library.
Bring your treasures, discover their value, and listen to the experts share their thoughts! Find out “what it’s worth” with the help of Atchison’s own rare coin & currency specialist Dean Schmidt, and antique specialists Diane Senecal of Beverly’s Antiques (Diane is a generalist and button expert), and Jimmy Johnson of Jinny’s Antiques in Leavenworth.
FoAL members will have the opportunity to have one item appraised for free, with the option of having additional items appraised for $5 apiece (limit of three items). Non-members will be charged $5 per item (limit of three items). Applications for membership in the Friends of the Atchison Library will be available.
During the wrap-up (4-4:30 pm), our experts will share their opinion of the most interesting items of the day. Don’t miss this exciting event!
