ATCHISON PUBLIC LIBRARY

The Library Board consists of seven members appointed by the City Council. The Board is charged with such duties as making recommendations on policy concerning operations of the Library; on rules, regulations, and bylaws for the Library; on duties and qualifications of the Library Director; on the proposed annual budget for Library operations; and on acquisitions, disposition, availability and use of collection materials.

Regular meetings of the Library Board are held on the fourth Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the meeting room on the lower level of the library. The public is cordially invited, and encouraged, to attend the meetings.
