Teen Read Week is October 7-13, and as recognition for all the reading you do, the Atchison Public Library is having a Book Review Competition. The three best reviews will not only earn the writer a prize bag packed full of local prizes, but will also be published that week in the Atchison Globe! You must be in grades 6-12 to submit a book review, and it needs to be turned in to the Atchison Public Library by October 3rd. Submissions can also be emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Reviews must be 200-250 words in length and can be about a book or a series of books you have read recently. Include a short description of what the book/book series is about, and then you can mention things like; what you like about the writing style, why you connected with the book/series, what made the book exciting, what you may have not liked about the book/series, and why others should read the book/series. Remember: No Big Spoilers!
Include Your name, your grade, the book/series title, and the book/series author SEPARATE from the word count.
