In keeping with Kansas’ 150th year celebration, this year we are offering three TALK discussions centering on “The Best of the West.” The first TALK will feature Sr. Rosemary Kolich and Larry McMurty’s book “Buffalo Girls,” a story of Calamity Jane in the last days of the wild west where she works as a muleskinner for Custer and has a fling with “Wild” Bill Hickok.
