Have you been to the library lately? Have you noticed how nice and bright the Large Print and Adult Fiction area is now? The inefficient (and expensive) lights have been replaced with LED lighting. We could not have completed this project without the generosity of the Courtney S. Turner Charitable Trust, Bank of America, N. A., Trustee and a Destination Library Grant from NEKLS!
During the month of April members of the Atchison County Genealogical Society will be in the Kansas Room on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 10-2 helping patrons with their research. Come see all the wonderful resources available at the library courtesy of the Genealogical Society!

Reserve your copy today! Join us at 6 PM Thursday , April 12th
Spring will soon be here, and the Atchison Library is starting a Seed Lending Library. Patrons may come in and "borrow" seeds. After harvest, bring back some of the seeds from the plants you raised. Just ask at the desk. And we would also appreciate any seeds you would like to donate to our Seed Library. Happy planting!
The TALK Book series starts up again on April 5th at 6:00. The theme is Native American Mysteries. Deborah Peterson will be back to lead the discussion on Dance For the Dead by Thomas Perry. Books are available at the circulation desk.
