What if Sherlock Holmes was really a warlock? Lestrade was a vampire? Moriarty is a spirit trapped in his head and Watson was the smart one who solved all the crimes? That's the premise of Warlock Holmes a Study in Brimstone. I thought this would be more of a comedic book, but it's more straight Holmes. And Holmes isn't the sharpest tack in the box. I've read the first two stories, and they're a nice, quick read. Not what I expected, but not bad. If you want to try something a little different, this may do it.
