Edible Book Fair – Discover the Magic of Libraries Sept. 11

No, that doesn’t mean you’ll get to eat books!!!

But, you can create a piece of edible art (if you need inspiration just GOOGLE “edible book fair”) based on a book title, cover image, a specific scene, character or even a funny play on words by using vegetables, sugar, cheese, chocolate … anything edible. Entries will be judged and prizes awarded.

Entries can be set up for display beginning at 9:00 a.m.  The book fair will open to the public at 10:00.  Judging will begin at 2:00 p.m.

As part of this unique event, at 2:00 we will feature Kansas City Magician Justin Scott in a special magical show.

Also featured will be demonstrations of cupcake decorating and vegetable carving.

Anyone can enter so put on your chef’s hat and get busy, then get registered for this special event!!
