If you’re looking for information about Atchison’s favorite daughter (or should we say “granddaughter”) Amelia Earhart, check out the State Library’s blog celebrating 150 years of Kansas history. Amelia is featured this week with an article that includes links to several online sources including the Amelia Earhart Museum, the official Amelia Earhart website, and the Purdue University Libraries collection of digitized Amelia Earhart papers, photos, memorabilia and artifacts. A Day at Atchison Library
On March 30, the Library took part in a statewide program to tell the story of libraries in Kansas. The idea was to take a snapshot of a day in the life of Kansas Libraries. Our Snapshot Day was March 30. On that day we circulated 233 items, had 392 visitors, answered 27 reference questions, had 134 people who used our computers, and had three programs attended by 41 people. Watch our video of why libraries are important in the daily life of our community.

For you last minute filers, the State of Kansas has posted a link to print a paper copy of the K-40 Kansas Individual Income Tax form. We also have copies at the circulation desk.
