Atchison Public Library

Award-winning Kansas author Nancy Pickard will be the featured guest speaker at the Third Author Luncheon co-sponsored by the Friends of the Atchison Library (FoAL) and the Atchison Library.  Ms. Pickard’s novel, The Virgin of Small Plains was selected as the 2009 Kansas Reads novel.  The luncheon will be held at the Trinity Episcopal Church on Saturday, April 18th from noon to 2:00 p.m.  Luncheon tickets are available at the library’s main circulation desk.  You can purchase a copy of The Virgin of Small Plains at the library’s main circulation desk for $10.00.  Ms. Pickard has graciously consented to sign your copy after the luncheon.
