Back By Popular Demand – The Parasol Puppets

parasolOn Monday, December 14th at 6:30 p.m. Atchison Children’s Library will feature the Parasol Puppets as they add a Holiday twist to a classic tale with their festive hand puppet show “The Gingerbread Man’s Christmas.” When Mrs. Claus bakes a special cookie for Santa, the Gingerbread Man decides that he doesn’t want to get eaten! He hops off of the cookie sheet and begins his sing-a-long adventure. Join the puppets in singing “Deck the Halls”, “Santa Claus is Coming to Town”, and many more enjoyable Christmas tune. What a great way to get in the Holiday mood!

RESCHEDULED

The PreTeenology club meeting scheduled for Monday, November 16th has been rescheduled for Monday, November 23rd.  The theme will be “Native American Crafts.”  On Monday the 30th, we’ll have “Gaming Day” with Wii, Playstation 2, Guitar Hero, board games and more.

Legos Challenge

Join us Saturday, November 7th for this legospopular event.  There will be divisions for Kindergarten through 12th grade with prizes awarded in each group. Begin building at 9:00 a.m.  For details or to register stop by or call the library, 367-1902 and ask for Greg or Cheryl.
